NAUTIC-ON is bringing smart boating to the windy city! The five-day expose brings power boaters and sail boaters from all across the Midwest to see the latest and greatest in the marine industry—including boats, technology and more.
Located right on the shore of Lake Michigan, Chicago has a large and diverse boating scene, with popular sailing regattas such as the Race to Mackinac and many scenic skyline destinations for power boaters.

Boaters can stay in touch with their boat and its key systems, remotely 24/7. Working with the cloud and 4G LTE data, the NAUTIC-ON alerts users when something goes wrong, so they can take action before it’s too late.
The smart boating system makes taking care of your boat easy by solving common boating pain points, such as dead batteries, mysterious engine issues and overactive bilge pumps. This enhances the boating experience by reducing downtime with proactive monitoring to keep boats on the water and ready to go.
Designed to work on any boat with a battery, including sail boats, the NAUTIC-ON Onboard System can be retrofitted to existing boats, so current owners can get the most advanced remote monitoring system on their vessels. NAUTIC-ON technology will soon be available on 2019 and 2020 models of select partner brands, including Sea Ray and Boston Whaler.
Service providers, boat clubs and dealers can get a view of the boat as well using the NAUTIC-ON Portal. With fleet monitoring, remote diagnostic capabilities and more, customers can opt to send fault codes and other information directly to their service providers to resolve issues with their boat, without the hassle.
