The NAUTIC-ON Smart Boating System was among the variety of technology displayed at Solstice FWD event, a one-day innovation symposium. Solstice FWD 2018: Being Human was an interactive and immersive experience focused on innovation for forward-thinking executives, and digital leaders.
This year’s installment explored the intersection of humanity and technology, and how to leverage technology to better everyday life in a variety of industries, including the marine space. The summit highlighted a variety of next-generation tech initiatives, such as NAUTIC-ON’s technology which connects boaters to their vessels 24/7.
As part of the immersive connected experiences at the event, NAUTIC-ON’s Internet of Things (IoT) marine technology platform and a helm display from Brunswick’s Mercury Marine division, were showcased, giving attendees the opportunity to simulate a real-world scenario and to interact with the cutting-edge marine technology. Solstice FWD participants learned how the NAUTIC-ON mobile app works, with a mock-up of alerts and data from the simulation display. Attendees checked engine status and other diagnostic data live at the event.
In identifying a larger boating ecosystem, NAUTIC-ON continues to find opportunities for technology to deliver a better all-around experience for consumers. The remote monitoring solution is the latest digital innovation moving the marine industry forward.
