Boating season is officially underway in Chicago! An event held at the 31st Street Harbor, Harborfest brings boaters together from all over the city to enjoy a boat show, live music and more.
Attendees learned about the latest innovations in marine technology, including the NAUTIC-ON Smart Boating System through an interactive, real-life simulation. Utilizing the new remote monitoring system, boaters used the mobile app to check on engine status, bilge pump activity, battery life, GeoFence location and weather updates.
Installed on a vessel at the boat show, Harborfest visitors could see the full onboard system in action. The main hub as well as battery and bilge pump sensors were hooked up, showing how the system is designed to work on any boat and simple to install. The sensors wirelessly communicate with the main hub to track and record key system diagnostics. This data is then sent to the cloud via a 4G connection and sent directly to the mobile app, giving you peace of mind while away from the dock.
